Is this product safe for children and teens?

We always recommend consulting your family's healthcare provider before administering to children and teens. All hemp product is currently not considered GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) per the FDA. As such these decisions should be made on a case by case basis with the help of your physician.

Will CBGa fail a drug test?

CBGA, or cannabigerolic acid, is a precursor chemical to many other cannabinoids found in cannabis, including THC. Standard drug tests typically screen for THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and its metabolites. Since CBGA is not psychoactive and is a different compound from THC, it is not usually targeted in a standard drug screening.

However, it's important to note that the specificity of drug tests can vary, and some tests may be more comprehensive than others. While it is unlikely that CBGA would cause a positive drug test for THC, the possibility cannot be completely ruled out due to the complexities of cannabis-related substances and the body's metabolism.

For those concerned about drug testing, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional and consider the specific type of drug test being administered. Always ensure that you are in compliance with your local laws and regulations regarding cannabinoid use.
